My Review: This book was so much more than I was expecting and it hit me with a ferocity that surprised me. This story reinforces the adage that life isn’t fair but also that your life is what you make it. Stuff is going to happen but its how we deal with it that makes our lives what they are. We are our reactions to life events, not the events themselves. In the book Galli shows us that it is possible to live a life filled with unimaginable tragedies and still love that life. Although it is a heartbreaking story it still manages to convey a message of hope.
