My Review: I have some mixed feelings about this book. On the one hand there are some superb elements that drew me in and worked great. On the other hand there were elements of the plot that were predictable, a bit boring and just not that interesting. I enjoyed the virtual world and technology aspects of the book and found the way that the world the authors created here was fascinating. The parts of the book that took place in reality though were the parts were I found myself wanting to skim because for the most part I knew what was going to happen. Despite that I did enjoy the book. The writing and pacing were well done and the virtual world and elements of the plot that took place there were enough to keep me reading. I will probably pick up book two but it isn’t a must read for me.
