But her plans are fried when her head cook Oliver turns up dead after a bitter and public fight over Charlie's ideas--leaving Charlie as the only suspect in the case. With her career, freedom, and life all on thin ice, Charlie must find out who the real killer is, before it's too late.

My Review: This was a solid start to a new series. There are a few kinks to work out but overall I enjoyed the book. I really enjoyed the rural Alaska setting, especially since I was born there! The main character, Charlie was really likable and I loved how she and her relationships developed throughout the book. I also loved her relationship with her cat, Eggs Benedict. They mystery was well done and kept me guessing. If you are a cozy mystery fan then this is a great one to check out!

*I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the publisher. All opinions are my own.*
