Review: The Balance Project

Title: The Balance Project

Author: Susie Orman Schnall

Release Date: April 28, 2015

Rating: 3.5/5 Stars

My Review: Overall I really enjoyed this book. It was a light quick read that was both funny and insightful. I found myself getting frustrated with the main character quite a few times though. A few times I even put the book down and walked away for a little while until I was ready to face it. The truth is that the main character has a lot of growing to do and in the end it was gratifying how much she had changed and grown. The book mainly tells the story of two women at different stages in their lives both trying to balance everything in their lives and finding just how difficult that really is. The book was particularly poignant for me going into motherhood soon. I have to say that in the end I felt connected to both women and was glad for the insight into trying to balance careers and homelife.

*I received this book from Booksparks in exchange for an honest review*
